Note: This is not a BB gun, and it is not an actual firearm. It is an airsoft toy gun meant to be skirmished with against other players sort of like paintball. It can not be made to fire real bullets, and no part of it can be used on a real firearm.

With all of that said, this thing is very fun. It is made by a company called D-Boys, and they have a good reputation among airsoft fans. This replica of the US military's M4A1 is solid metal with nylon/plastic grips and stock. It uses an 8.4 volt battery (much like an R/C car) to compress air and propel 6mm plastic BBs either in full- or semi-automatic fire.

The plastic BBs shoot at approx. 300 feet per second which is slower than BB guns but still fast enough and with enough power to shoot through aluminum cans at 25-30 feet. It's range is probably 100 feet, but it loses power quickly past that. That's pretty much why I bought into airsoft in the first place. I'm teaching my 7-year-old safe firearm handling, and these guns are safe enough and realistic enough for that.

This rifle is practically new -- I'm only selling it because I have a few other airsoft guns already, and I could use the money more than I need this. The rifle is in its original box with one battery, the orignal magazine and a spare that I bought, a nylon sling, a battery charger, and a cleaning rod (for the barrel).

Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thanks.
