For sale is a functional piece of art created by long time Micanopy master potter Win Blazier. Made from coiled clay, then shaped and fired, this kerosene lamp features lovely glazes in muted blue, gray, brown and black in modern abstract geometric swirls, a modern twist to old world technology.

NOTE: The close-up photo taken without a flash shows truer colors. The flash made the blue pop, and it's not that bright at all.
The lamp has brass hardware and a glass lamp were to make it fully functional for the next power outage. Includes a wick. The inside is clean. Don't know if it's ever been used.
Sturdy and sits level.
The bottom is signed Win Blazier Micanopy. Undated but likely late 1980s or so.
Size: Full height with glass lamp, 20-1/2 inches. Pottery section is 10 inches. Weighs more than 3-1/2 pounds.
Brass shows a little normal corrosion near wick. (In back there's a bit of glue seepage from the attachment of the hardware.) Overall excellent condition.
