This can be used as a buffet addresser or office credenza. It was appraised as a Double Low Cabinet in Black Lacquer with Gold Painting, Four Doors and purchased for
$5,400, then shipped here from Hong Kong in 2002

Material is Lacquer on Elm Wood from the
Qing Dynasty dating from period of 1850 to 1900

There ate two FALSE DOORS in the very bottom that are six inches deep on both sides.
