This 1953 Ford Sunliner was restored to original back in 1990. I bought it in November, 2022 and the paint and bodywork were still in great condition. I decided it needed a bit more power so I had it restored to reflect a more modern Resto mod and better driving car. I also did not care for the red and black interior so I had it redone in red and white. Ohhh, at the time of these photos , the upholstery shop had not finished the convertible top boot which is also white. I now have it with the car.

It now has the following new: Ford 302 CI crate motor 375 HP with a 4 speed automatic OD transmission, front disc brakes on the front, Holly Sniper Fuel Injection Carburetor, gas tank, 12 volt wiring & battery, power steering, power brakes, 5 radial W/W tires with chrome wire hubcaps, re-chromed front bumper, halo head lights, left and right period correct spot lights, the very hard to find Ford 50 year commemorative Coronado (Continental) Kit with 3rd brake light, dual exhausts, B/U lights, white power convertible top w/boot, complete red and white interior including the trunk, steering wheel and tilt column, modern GPS gauges, radio, vintage air and heat and I am sure there are things I have forgotten. ONLY 685 miles on the new engine and drive train !
