Here is a vintage Heathkit Vacuum Tube Amplifier from 1953 in good condition. It has the warm sound of tubes. It has two big 6L6 push pull tubes, which were the most powerful output tubes available at the time. These powered Fender and Marshall guitar amps used by professional musicians for many years. 20 watts of power, which may not seem like much compared to new transistor amps, but it is enough to hurt your ears and thump some good bass if you have like 12" woofers. The capacitors have probably been replaced as it was owned by a service technician. Frequency response: 20 to 20,000 Hz +-1 dB; THD 1%; Magnetic Phono input: 7 mV; Microphone input: 10 mV; Crystal phono input: 80 mV; Tuner input: 0.6 V; Bass control: +15 dB to -15 dB; Treble control: +15 dB to -20 dB.
