There's NOTHING that radiates heat like copper. All that's available online is copper painted stuff made of iron or steel. No matter how much they cost, they ALL rust unless they're copper, brass, or high grade stainless, no matter what color they paint it. No paint made can withstand the heat a fire generates.
The ones with solid copper bowls were selling for over $600 new last time they were available on Amazon, but they have been sold out for a long time. The price of the copper is very high these days.
My fire ring is vintage copper with a nice heavy patina on it and has a tile decorated steel support base and includes firewood rack full of oak firewood. It also has a fire grate inside and a fire screen for the top. The copper bowl lifts out easily for moving or cleaning.
The copper bowl is over 41 inches in diameter and the unit stands 21 inches tall assembled.
