I have just surfaced my most recent tabletop and gotten it ready for one lucky DIY’er who wants to make it there own. This table, once finished, would be marketed at $3,500. but since I’m primarily a sawmill and material manufacturer, I’m selling it as a raw material for much less. This makes it perfect for someone who’s always admired and wanted to build their own stunning river table, but doesn’t have the time, space, material or equipment for the undertaking.
This tabletop is cedar, bookmached to give a mirror image from center outwards, with two “Mediterranean blue” rivers running the length.
This table has been surfaced and sanded to 100 grit. From which point, the buyer would sand it up to 220grit, and finish with their choice of wood finish and mount on a base that can easily be purchased on Amazon.
Don’t want to do the finish work? No problem. I can take it from here to final for for my standard low hourly rate.
This table used over 5 gallons of epoxy and will have final dimensions of 32” x 60 making it perfect for a small dining table, or large living room table or desk.
Feel free to come see it in person, Or come out to see my selection of slabs and we can talk about having one custom made. I generally have a wide selection of kiln dried slabs onhand to pick from. We would choose the right slabs based on live edge features, color and grain patterns. Then pair it with your choose of colors for the epoxy. I can precisely recreate any of my proprietary colors, or we can work to create a new color that fits your vision perfectly.
I run a small but capable lumber and supply company in the Jonesville/archer area. I am a one man operation devoted to helping local woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers and promoting woodworking as an art form.
My mission is to become north-central Florida’s go-to source for hardwood lumber by making woodworking once again an affordable artform for hobbyists, professionals, and DIY’ers alike.
Im currently by appointment only. I’m generally onsite on Tuesdays through Saturday scheduling visitors from 12-5. Simply let me know what day/time would work best for you and I’ll get you on the schedule and send the address. I’m halfway between Jonesville and Archer off Cr241s.
