A wonderful opportunity for backyard hatchers, homesteaders, or kids in 4H or similar programs looking to hatch, raise, and show.
Photos include my own breeding ducks and hatched ducklings. I collect only clean, undamaged eggs and provide the most recently laid on the day of sale. Eggs are dated and typically no more than a few days old at pickup.
Left unwashed to preserve the natural bloom — duck eggs have a more resilient cuticle than chicken eggs and incubate beautifully. I have had success with hatching both washed (filtered, non-chlorinated water) and unwashed eggs, but I know that everyone has their own experience so I have left the decision of washing up to the buyer. Eggs up to 12 days old before incubation will still develop successfully.
My flock is fed Kalmbach Duck and Goose feed for complete nutrition, ensuring healthy, well-developed eggs.
