We have locally grown grain & grass finished beef steers & heifers for sale. Cattle are raised naturally, no hormones, vaccines or antibiotics. Whole beefs are available & will arrange halves as well. We can deliver to your farm, your butcher or with one of our butchers & make an appointment for you. Our butcher will process it your way, vacuum seal & label all the cuts. We sell our whole and half beefs as a live animal purchase, which avoids using a usda processing plant & is less stressful on the animal.

Prices are usually around $1.80 & up to to $2.00 per lb live weight. Deposits are $400 on a whole & $200 on a half to get the process started. The balance of the live animal purchase is due once the animal is delivered. You'll pay the butcher separately for aging, cutting & vacuum sealing when you pick up your meat.

Here's an example of what buying a whole 1200lb animal will cost:
$2160 to us for the live animal.
$120 to the butcher for the slaughter fee.
$900 to the butcher for aging, cutting & vacuum sealing.
That's $3180 total for approximately 504 pounds of bone in & boneless finished beef. If buying a half divide the numbers above in half. That's around $6.29 per pound across all cuts of meat that you put in your freezer. Keep in mind every animal is different so the numbers above will vary.

We recommend you have a 14 to 16 cubic foot freezer for a half purchase or 28 to 32 cubic feet for a whole animal. Your meat will stay fresh for over a year up to 3 years.
