Storage Zone is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our self-storage and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, can solve problems independently, and enjoys a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform general property maintenance and repairs
Repair doors, locks, fences, gates, and garage doors
Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting (basic to intermediate)
Drywall, painting, carpentry, and concrete repairs
Landscaping, weed control, and property clean-up
Operate power tools and maintenance equipment safely
Inspect vacant units and prepare them for new tenants
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Identify maintenance issues before they become major repairs
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance throughout the property
Assist with special projects and property improvements as needed
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (TRUCK/SUV)
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
Basic tools are preferred
