Slabs like this I’m not common, and would make wonderful ottoman style coffee tables, or anything else you can think of.
Oversize slabs mill on the super slabber I generally sold for $7/bf, putting these in the range of $110-$130. Come see them in person I don’t expect them to last long.
I run a small but capable sawmill and lumber company in the Jonesville/archer area. I’m currently a one man operation. My mission is to become north-central Florida’s go-to source for hardwood lumber by making woodworking once again an affordable artform for hobbyists, professionals, and DIY’ers alike.
Im currently by appointment only. I’m generally onsite on Tuesdays through Saturdays, scheduling visitors from 12-5. Simply let me know what day/time would work best for you and I’ll get you on the schedule and send the address. I’m halfway between Jonesville and Archer off Cr241s.
I am the sawmill, I personally cut all lumber from local, sustainably sourced logs. All lumber is fully seasoned before advertising, and all hardwoods are kiln dried below 10% before being advertised.
I also offer custom milling of your logs if you have them.
