The Crate GLX65 is a 65-watt, 12” speaker, solid-state combo amplifier. Part of Crate’s G-series lineup, the GLX65 was positioned as a versatile mid-range amplifier suitable for both practice and performance settings.One of the GLX65’s strongest selling points is its dual-channel design. The clean channel produces a surprisingly transparent sound that allows your guitar’s natural voice to shine through. With gain controls that take you from mild crunch to high-gain distortion, the GLX65 can cover substantial tonal ground.
Channel switching can be accomplished either via the front panel controls or by using the footswitch.

The “X” in GLX65 stands for “effects”. The built-in digital effects include:
• Reverb (with multiple types including room, hall, and plate)
• Delay (with adjustable time and feedback)
• Chorus
• Flanger
• Pitch shifter
• Various combination effects

Effects can be adjusted using dedicated controls, and many can be switched on/off via the optional footswitch.
The GLX65 also features a 3-band EQ section (Bass, Middle, Treble) that provides substantial tonal shaping ability.

The GLX65 offers a respectable array of input and output options:
• Standard instrument input
• Effects loop send/return for integrating external effects
• Headphone output for silent practice
