Provides care for pients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and some therapeutic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Operes equipment utilized to measure radiion, produce images, quantify physiologic responses, and relay images and measurements to the physician for interpretion. Employs practices and techniques to ensure the safe handling of radioactive merials, especially when dosing pients with radiopharmaceuticals (both orally and intravenously) as prescribed and authorized by the responsible licensed physician.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start de
• Ste of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Gradue from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
